The Festival of Surfing kicked off on the weekend with the National Surfing Reserve’s 10th Anniversary Surfing Teams Challenge, where 11 teams and 99 competitors battled it out for the Dave Fincher Memorial Trophy. The event was the first in the Phillip Island Boardriders’ month-long festival, which celebrates 60 years of the club as well as the surfing culture and community of Phillip Island.
