Wellbeing event for women with cancer
Tuesday 28 March 2023 9.45am–2.45pm
Counterpart is a service for women, delivered by women. We support women diagnosed with cancer to live well by providing peer support, information and wellbeing programs. Come along to meet other women diagnosed with cancer and take part in some fun and informative activities that can enhance your wellbeing.
Program for the day:
9.45am: Welcome and about Counterpart.
10.00am–10.45am: Qi gong – gentle meditative movement practice.
11.00am–12.30pm: Sashiko – decorative Japanese stitching. All materials supplied.
12.30am–1.30pm: Please bring your own lunch. We will provide light snacks and drinks.
1.30pm–2.20pm: Fatigue after cancer treatment.
