The Phillip Island Bass Coast Dog Owners Association was established in 2020 to provide a voice for dog owners.

The Association’s mission is to ensure dog owners are able to exercise their dogs on leash-free beaches and leash-free parks on Phillip Island and the Bass Coast region.

It also works to promote recognition that dogs are an important part of family life and contribute greatly to our physical and mental health and wellbeing.

The Association is committed to:

  • Continuing to liaise with council regarding the Domestic Animal Management Plan and to ensure our off-leash beaches remain permanent
  • Lobby council regarding more dedicated parks for dogs
  • Educate dog owners and the public on responsible and respectful ownership and behaviour in public places
  • Run educational quarterly training days

If you are interested in joining the Association please email: phillipislanddogs@gmail.com or via or social pages.
