What a win for Under 17 netballers

The Under 17 netballers travelled to Cora Lynn this week to take on Inverloch in the semi-final.

The girls were all very nervous as they have not had much luck in finals at Cora Lynn and against Inverloch in the past.

Thank goodness the team were able to overcome their bad memories and managed to bring their A game to the court yet again.

The first half was very tightly contested between both teams and the U17s were able to maintain a six-goal lead at half time.

With some great coaching and lots of support in the box the girls came out firing at three quarter time and stepped it up another notch.

And wow, they managed to step up to another level and stretch the lead substantially, which set them up for a convincing win against Inverloch.

The team will play Korumburra in the Preliminary final next Saturday at Dalyston with the hope of securing a Grand Final position.
