Western Port would be dredged for five months under proposal

Dredging of Western Port will take place in the purple area. "This area, already highly disturbed, is resilient and can recover from managed disturbances," according to the Port of Hastings. Western Port would be dredged 24/7 for five months if the revised Victorian Renewable Energy Terminal (VRET) is approved.
