Women’s business at the RSL
Dr Carmen Brown will speak about women’s health at the Phillip Island RSL on September 7.
Come along to the Phillip Island RSL on September 7 and meet Dr Carmen Brown who is a consultant in obstetrics and gynaecology with 20 years of clinical experience.
Dr Brown is also clinical director of women’s health at Bass Coast Health, consulting at the Phillip Island Health Hub as well as Wonthaggi Hospital.
Dr Brown believes all women, no matter their location, are entitled to excellent, high quality and evidence-based care.
She is passionate about bringing quality care to rural and regional women and has worked on several committees and boards to ensure that comes to fruition.
Living and working in rural and regional Australia, New Zealand and the USA for almost 10 years, Dr Brown brings experience to the role.
She has a desire to provide safe care within a cohesive team of GPs, midwives and allied health professionals.
Dr Brown is a wife and mother of two and is happy to call South Gippsland home.
Phillip Island Health Hub Auxiliary members are very excited Dr Brown is coming to talk about cervical screening and women’s health.
Her talk will take place at the Phillip Island RSL, Thompson Ave, Cowes at midday on Thursday September 7.
