Phillip Island World Vision raised $9400 to help Ukraine’s refugees at its recent fundraiser.

“One hundred per cent will go to the front to ease the flight of refugees,” said Phillip Island World Vision President, Lynne Kharanda.

Lynne said the group would continue fundraising over Easter and hopes the community and visitors will get behind the appeal.

Fundraisers include a garage trail sale at Rhyll and collection tables in Cowes.

“Visitors can go to the Rhyll Hall where maps and details of each stall and sale items will be available,” Lynne said.

“Collection tables will be present each day in the foyer of Cowes, at the corner of Church Street and Thompson Avenue. This collection is solely for the Ukraine crisis.”
