World Vision's winter lunch

Phillip Island's World Vision Club is holding a winter fundraising lunch at Phillip Island Bowling Club, 40 Dunsmore Road, Cowes, on Sunday August 30 at 12 noon.

Tickets are $40 per person, which includes a two course meal, tea/coffee and a "special effort" ticket.

Drinks are available at bar prices.

Special guest speaker on the day is Vicki Risby, from World Vision.

Vicki will speak on projects that bring clean water, sanitation and hygiene to communities.

Vicki is Regional Manager of World Vision Australia's Specialist Team, CEO of a not-for-profit coffee initiative, a contemporary artist, humanitarian, wife, and mother of four children.

Over many years, Vicki has worked alongside communities experiencing poverty and hardship, supporting health initiatives, food distribution programs, community development projects, and advocacy efforts with government leaders to help drive meaningful and lasting change.
