A pawfect gift for PICAL
Thanks to the members of the Dog Owners Association there will be less likelihood of any local dogs going hungry.
Thanks to the members of the Phillip Island Bass Coast Dog Owners Association (PIBCDOA) there will be less likelihood of any local dogs going hungry.
The group recently donated $650 worth of dog food to the food bank at PICAL.
The food was purchased thanks to a combination of generous donations from association members and several fundraising efforts.
“The day we dropped the donation to PICAL there was already a man and his dog waiting for food,” said Association Treasurer Catherine Gregson.
“We were really pleased that we could make such an immediate and positive difference.”
The group also have a small number of items, such as dog crates and beds that can be borrowed at no cost.
If there are any people needing dog food, please email phillipislanddogs@gmail.com. If members of the community would like to join PIBCDOA please email the group at the same email address.
