Text messages from DHHS have been sent out to around 150 people who attended a Tier1 exposure site on Phillip Island asking them to get tested again.

Around 150 people who attended a Tier1 exposure site on Phillip Island have been asked to get tested again.

Text messages from DHHS have been sent out, due to concerns about the viral fragments detected in the Phillip Island wastewater yesterday.

Anyone who received the latest message is being asked to be tested again then continue to quarantine.

Bass Coast Health CEO Jan Child urged anyone who received the latest text message to get tested today.

Sites

There are three sites currently operating:

  • Cowes Drive Through at the Transit Centre: 9am - 5pm
  • Wonthaggi Drive Through at Wonthaggi Hospital: 9am - 5pm
  • Cowes Walk-in site,  now located to the Phillip Island Leisure Centre in Church Street: 8am - 6pm

Updates on site opening and wait times are regularly posted on BCH's Facebook page.

The sites at Bass and San Remo are no longer in operation.
