Amy's fourth Super Swim
Wonthaggi teenager Amy Hodson is undertaking the Starlight Super Swim Challenge this February, aiming to swim 67km over the month and raise $2000.
Amy Hodson is again swimming to raise funds for the Starlight Children's Foundation.
This is the fourth time the Wonthaggi teenager has undertaken the Starlight Super Swim Challenge and this February she's set herself a huge goal - to swim 67km over the month - hoping to raise $2000.
Thirteen-year-old Amy chose 67km to match the current 6-7 craze.
"She's using it as a fun way to raise funds for the Starlight Children's Foundation, whose mission is to brighten the lives of sick kids in children's hospitals right across Australia," said Amy's proud mother Robyn.
"As many of you know, Amy has spent lots of time at the Royal Children's Hospital.
"During those visits, the Starlight Express Room has been a special place - filled with laughter, games, creativity, and joy. It's a space where sick kids can forget about treatments for a while and just be kids again."
Now, Amy wants to give back and help Starlight continue spreading smiles to kids and families everywhere.
"Please consider donating $6.70, $67, $670, or whatever you can spare to support Amy's swim and help brighten the days of sick kids all across Australia," said Robyn.
Every dollar helps Amy reach her goal - and helps Starlight continue their incredible work in hospitals nationwide.
