Phillip Island Health Hub Auxiliary together with the Woolamai and District Racing Club held their seventh annual race day on Saturday March 21.

The weather was kind, apart from a little drizzle mid-afternoon and the pavilions and racecourse surrounds were filled with people having lots of fun together, whilst also watching the races.

A photobooth ensured that people could record their memories and Fashions on the Field was a feature of the successful fundraising day.

"We had a very successful online raffle which sold out prior to the day and also had an on-course raffle on the day," said Gill Scrase from the Phillip Island Health Hub Auxiliary.

Raffle winners: 1st - Ticket no 627, T Mans; 2nd - Ticket no 1170, M Crooks; 3rd - Ticket no 1097, R De Mara; 4th - Ticket No 441, C Lanigan.

"We are very grateful to our donors who gave prizes for the raffles and Fashions on the Field and, although the final figures are not yet in, we estimate that the event will have raised over $10,000."

Once again the race day was supported by The Big Wave and Phillip Island RSL, as well as New Wave Concreting, Barry Plant and the Wooli Tavern.

"And last, but not least, thank you to all the members of our community and those far and wide who came and supported our event."
