ASPI Easter Exhibition at Newhaven College

After an extensive search the Artists’ Society of Phillip Island is thrilled to announce that their Easter Exhibition this year will be held at Newhaven College in the Middle School Space.

Last year’s successful Show at Ramada could not be repeated.

“It was very disappointing that they could not offer it again,” an ASPI spokesperson said.

“However we are excited and are certain that this Easter at Newhaven will be as good or better than last year.”

Once again all categories will show members works and works will be for sale.

The Exhibition this year will include “Sustainable Future” sponsored by Westernport Water.

“This category brings most thoughtful and interesting works of art, which honours the saving of our natural resources and the re-use of disposables saving them from landfill.”

“Best Other Category” allows many artists, sculptor, metal and woodworkers, potters and any artistic talent the imagination can create.

”Best in Show“ brings together the very best in visual art with wonderful variety.

The “Wearable Art“ category returns and is sure, as always to showcase imagination and varied skills.

Entries close on April 4.

The Exhibition opening night is on Thursday, April 15 and it runs until Monday April 18.

The judge is David O’Halloran and the event is sponsored by Bendigo Community Bank, RSL Cowes, Westernport Water, Chemmart Cowes, Turn the Page/Flowers of Phillip Island, Seniors Art Supplies.
