Consultation on the design of the proposed aquatics centre is set to start next month.

Phillip Island Aquatic Centre Fund (PIACF) secretary Peter McMahon said council must consult with community and sports groups about the new facility. In 2020, PIACF released a recreation master plan for the site – designed by community members – that includes a 50m competition pool with eight lanes.
