Phillip Island Health Hub Auxiliary raised more than $5000 from their recent raffle.

A painting donated by local artist David Taylor of Iluka Gallery was won by island resident, Philip Dingley.

Auxiliary secretary Gill Scrase thanked all those volunteers who sold tickets and all who supported the fundraiser by buying tickets.

“The monies raised will contribute to supporting the upgrading of maternity services provided to our local community,” Gill said.

She said their next venture was the race day at Woolamai Racecourse on March 6.

“Come along and bring your friends for a great country day out.”
