Basham trial starts next week
Pre-trial arguments have been extended and the trial has been adjourned to a later date yet to be fixed.
The Supreme Court trial for alleged murderer Adrian Basham will start next week on March 15.
Previously set to start on March 7, pre-trial arguments were extended.
The trial is expected to run for two months.
Adrian James Basham pleaded not guilty at a committal hearing in the Latrobe Valley Magistrates Court in October 2019, after being committed to stand trial over the death of his estranged wife, 38-year-old Samantha Fraser.
Mr Basham is accused of killing the mother of their three children at her Cowes home on July 23, 2018.
