Andrew Furphy – a fourth generation Furphy – says the maker of the famous Furphy Farm Water Cart was John, his great grandfather. In World War I “telling a Furphy” came to mean telling a tall story, a rumour. Now the Furphy name is supporting a new documentary, "Western Port Down Under”, showcasing what lies beneath our oceans.
