Bonnie Doon was opened as a guest house in Osbourne Avenue Cowes in 1923 by a gentleman named McMaster. In 1962 it was renamed St Theresas and became a seaside home for elderly patients, before being transformed into the Tropicana Restaurant in the 1970s
