Bass Coast Shire Council is hosting another creative industry event to help locals in the creative industries learn marketing and PR tactics.
The event will also show practical ways council can support businesses and events.
Attendees will gain industry information, learn to build a marketing campaign and plan, get insights into the best ways to market for their audience and enjoy the Meet the Press session where they'll get to connect with and chat with local journalists who can help them succeed.
The free session is catered for and will be held at The Union Theatre in Wonthaggi on Tuesday, July 21, 5 - 7pm.
This workshop is particularly useful for musicians, bands, theatre companies, artists and others who are interested in, or booking venues and events.
Speakers will include: Malcolm Russell, Bass Coast Cultural Venues head of arts; Laura A'Bell, Bass Coast Cultural Venues audience coordinator; and Lauren van Strijp, Business in Bass Coast acting industry coordinator.
Bass Coast Mayor, Cr Brett Tessari said after the success of this inaugural workshop last year, "we are thrilled our teams can deliver this again to help maximise the success of creatives in our region".
