Camp out for Camp Quality
This weekend, on Saturday July 29, NRMA Phillip Island Beachfront Holiday Park is holding its annual Camp Out for Camp Quality, to raise money to help support kids and families facing cancer.

This weekend, on Saturday July 29, NRMA Phillip Island Beachfront Holiday Park is holding its annual Camp Out for Camp Quality.

When a child is diagnosed with cancer, the whole family is thrown into turmoil.

Camp Quality Family Retreats provide families facing cancer an opportunity to reconnect, have fun, and create cherished memories on a holiday together.

But the need for these retreats is so great that many families are missing out.

To help raise money for this important cause, the NRMA is donating 50 per cent of all site fees for the night to Camp Quality.

Phillip Island Park Manager Daniel Rutter is hoping people will support the cause, by booking a site for the night, or coming along to join in the fun.

“There will be a massive game of laser tag out on the grass, timber pallets will be made into bases along with hay bales and inflatable army gear,” said Daniel.

“For food, I am smoking two briskets and running a sausage sizzle with all monies donated to Camp Quality.

“There will also be a raffle with prizes donated from local businesses.”

Other fun activities include a giant Connect 4 game, basketball and giant inflatable dart board and soccer games.

Help change the cancer story for Aussie families by joining Camp Out this weekend.
