Candidates under fire for insensitive signage
Election signage screwed into trees has raised the ire of local residents who described it as “arrogant and insensitive”. Candidate Allan Hicken said the signs were erected by volunteers but immediately followed up with council and promised to sort out any incorrectly mounted signage.
