Capture the Christmas spirit

Federal Member for Monash Mary Aldred has launched her 2026 Christmas card photo competition.

The photo competition is open to Monash residents of all ages and abilities.

"Monash is home to some of Australia's most stunning scenery, from beautiful beaches and rolling green hills to snow-capped mountains and picturesque towns," Ms Aldred said.

"If you've captured a stunning photo of our area, including Bass Coast, South Gippsland, Latrobe or Baw Baw, I'd love to see it."

Entries are now open and will close on Sunday, September 27 at 5pm.

"The winning photo will feature on my 2026 Christmas card, which is sent out across the Monash electorate," Ms Aldred said.

"I encourage everyone to scroll through your camera roll or grab your camera and start snapping."

Last year's winner, Chris Hardy of Nilma, captured a photo at Toorongo Falls near Noojee.
