Gala Dinner at TIDAL

This year’s TIDAL Seafood Festival in September is shaping up to be a huge three-day celebration of all things seafood, opening with the TIDAL Seafood Gala Dinner.

Paying homage to the traditional Fisherman’s ball, and building on the inaugural event a few years ago, the Seafood Gala Dinner will be held on the San Remo Foreshore on Friday September 15.

With a five-course menu curated by local chefs, guest speakers, live music and a ‘Dress to Impress’ dress code, the night promises to be a fitting opening to the TIDAL weekend.

“The Gala Dinner will be a celebration of the connection San Remo has to the ocean and the local seafood industry, a great chance for locals to catch up, and a nod to the traditional Fisherman’s Ball,” said Craig Edmonds, event coordinator.

“The Fisherman’s Ball was a highlight on the San Remo social calendar for years, so we’re excited to be breathing new life into such an iconic event.

“We’re grateful for the support of our major sponsors of the event – Fisheries Victoria, San Remo Fisherman’s Co-op, Bendigo Bank, Bass Coast Shire Council, Visit Vic and the Westernport Hotel,” said Craig.

Tickets are $150 per ticket, or $1400 for a table of 10 and include canapes, entrees, a main meal and dessert, plus a complementary drink on arrival and an evening of entertainment.
