CFA training returns
Last week, the Phillip Island Fire Brigade trained at the Cowes ELC, to increase their knowledge of the building and water sources in case of an emergency.

It might have looked like an emergency at the Cowes Early Learning Centre last week, but it was  actually an important training session for the Phillip Island fire brigade.

Bec Quarrell from the brigade said with restrictions easing, the crews were able to return to training sessions to maintain their skills.

“Last Tuesday night, our members attended the local early learning centre and primary school,” she said.

“This allowed us to increase our local knowledge of the buildings, location of water sources and complete our skills maintenance.”
