Christmas comes early at Community Banks

The weather might not have caught up to the idea that Christmas is around the corner, but the customers of the San Remo, Cowes and Grantville Community Banks certainly have.
Grantville Customer Relationship Officer Kelly was in awe last week when two anonymous customers came into the Grantville Branch and donated $2500 worth of Christmas presents for the kids in the local community.
“To see this sort of generosity firsthand is amazing,” Kelly commented.
“It will make such a difference to the kids in Grantville and districts on Christmas morning. The customers wished to remain anonymous, which is fine.”
The three branches have Christmas Giving Trees in each branch every year for the Community to donate presents.
The Cowes and San Remo Branches do this in a partnership with St Vinnies, while the Grantville branch do their Giving Tree in partnership with the school.
“The Bass Valley Lions Club also give the Grantville branch girls a nice sum of money each year to go and buy Christmas presents for the tree and this year they have given us another very generous amount.
“These presents aren’t even under the tree yet,“ Kelly said.
