Volunteers at PICAL and St Vinnies were busy packing hampers and wrapping gifts last week, to distribute to local families doing it tough this Christmas.

The goods and gifts have been donated by the local community and local businesses.

In another show of incredible community generosity during this difficult year, both St Vinnies and PICAL have had an overwhelming response to their annual Christmas appeals.

Linda Sparkes, President of the Cowes Conference of St Vinnies said she was so grateful for the donations and thanked the Phillip Island locals for their continued and generous support.

“Christmas is meant to be a time of celebration and joy but without these donations of toys and groceries, many families would go without,” says Linda.
