Easter festivities at Churchill Island were a big success, with beautiful conditions drawing a crowd to the farm precinct and café on Saturday and Sunday.

Families enjoyed a variety of activities from scavenger hunts, face painting, chainsaw carving demos, bandicoot spotting tours, and toffee apples to sweeten the experience.

With double sessions of farm activities, the farm precinct was buzzing with something for everyone to enjoy.

Local talents Daisy Spratt and The Laing Brothers alongside Nick Cunningham and The Corz provided captivating musical performances, enchanting audiences.

A spokesperson for Phillip Island Nature Parks said, "the activities and incredible energy of volunteers and staff truly brought Churchill Island to life with passion evident in every aspect of the event".

"There was positive feedback all round with Create Catering experiencing great success thanks to the delicious Easter offerings available from the farm precinct.

"A special shoutout goes to 'Misty' our beloved little penguin mascot who brought endless smiles to faces of all ages."

With school holidays in full swing, it's a perfect opportunity to visit Churchill Island and discover the variety of activities, demonstrations and walking trails on offer.
