In recent weeks, Newhaven College Senior School students enjoyed special opportunities to celebrate their school, teachers, families and friendships before the focus turns to final exams and assessments.
On August 1, the Year 12 cohort gathered at RACV Inverloch Resort for their special evening.
Students made a red-carpet entrance, posed for group photos and enjoyed mocktails before sitting down to dinner and a lively trivia session hosted by student leaders. The dance floor soon filled as students celebrated their final year together in style.
Two weeks later, on August 15, it was the Year 11 students’ turn. Students, parents and guardians gathered at Silverwater Resort in San Remo.
Staff, students and families took to the dance floor, bringing the generations together for a bit of fun.
“Events like these give students the chance to pause, reflect and celebrate the friendships and experiences that have shaped their time at Newhaven College,” a College spokesperson said.
“The memories created will last well beyond the classroom, reflecting the strong sense of confidence, connection and community built throughout their schooling.”
