Community rallies for Jake’s family

A GoFundMe campaign has been set up to help the family of 19-year-old Jake Munday.

The community has rallied behind the family after Jake’s tragic death in a car accident earlier this month.

The campaign organised by friend Emma Avitabile passed its $15,000 target within hours and has currently raised over $42,000.

“We extend our deepest condolences and unwavering support to the Munday family, who are navigating the darkest of times after the heartbreaking passing of their beloved son Jake,” Emma wrote.

“In this sad moment, we, as friends, relatives, and a compassionate local community, are committed to standing alongside them, offering love and support through their unimaginable grief.

“Let us remember Jake as a bright light that touched our lives, forever cherished in our hearts.”
