Jill Cousins was diagnosed with breast cancer and is about to start an aggressive treatment regime.
Jill’s husband Jaime died of cancer three years ago and this latest diagnosis is a huge blow for Jill and her four children Riley, Matisse, Finlay and Isla.
Friends Jacquie Penry and Briony McIntosh organised the fundraising campaign, hoping to raise $25,000 to help the family through this difficult time.
They said they’ve been overwhelmed by the generosity and support of the local community.
