DHHS advises anyone who visited the Wonthaggi Plaza Shopping Centre between 1.30pm and 2.30pm on December 28 should monitor for symptoms. If symptoms develop, immediately get tested and isolate until you receive a negative result.

Wonthaggi Plaza Shopping Centre has been added to the list of Victorian public exposure sites.

This means someone with a confirmed case of COVID-19 has visited the centre, shopping at KMart.

DHHS advises anyone who visited the centre between 1.30pm and 2.30pm on December 28 should monitor for symptoms. If symptoms develop, immediately get tested and isolate until you receive a negative result.

Today DHHS confirmed that one of the eight locally-acquired Victorian cases is in Leongatha.

Feel sick? Get tested

Testing is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week at the Phillip Island Health Hub, in Church Street, Cowes.

The Wonthaggi Drive-Through Clinic also operates between 9am - 6pm daily. A pop-up testing site has been set up in Leongatha at 66 Koonwarra Road.

Bass Coast Health advises that anyone attending the Phillip Island Health Hub will be triaged by a senior nurse when they arrive.

You will be provided with information and a contact number that you can ring at any time while waiting. In the event that your wait is longer than one hour, the senior nurse will contact you and reassess your symptoms and initiate any treatment that may be required. TIP: attending after 8pm and before 8am will be quicker.

A full list of public exposure sites is available on the DHHS website.
