Residents liked plans for a pedestrian-friendly Thompson Avenue, but predicted a parking snarl.

Respondents to the Cowes streetscape masterplan suggest rather than Thompson Avenue between the Esplanade and Chapel Street being one-way southbound it should instead be northbound. They are also concerned about the loss of parking.
