Creative Collaborations & connection to Country

Phillip Island Story Gatherers presents another online conversation on Tuesday, August 25 at 7.30pm.

The session – “Creative Collaborations and Connection to Country” – is the latest in a series of online sessions presented by the group, since the decision was made to cancel this year’s literary festival.

The conversion features Aunty Fay Stewart-Muir, Lisa Kennedy and Laura Brearley. The three women will talk about creative collaborations, storytelling and connection to Country, family and community.

Aunty Fay Stewart-Muir is a Traditional Custodian of Boon Wurrung Country and celebrated author.

Lisa Kennedy is a Trawlwoolway storyteller and artist and a descendant of Woretemoeteyenner from North East Tasmania.

Dr Laura Brearley is a creative researcher and intercultural arts specialist who established Koori Cohorts of Researchers at RMIT, Monash and Federation University.

Tickets are $10 per person and are limited, so book your online place via https://www.trybooking.com/BKVVH
