CWA Phillip Island Twilight’s first market stall
CWA members are well known for their wonderful baking and delightful jams and preserves.
There will be plenty of chances to snap up a delicious jar when the Phillip Island Twilight Branch holds its first Market Stall at St Philips Church at 9am on Saturday, September 25.
Members have been busy preserving and baking in preparation for the stall.
“Food and the sharing of it is the centre of all our activities,” said Twilight Branch’s Sally Matthews.
“Food nurtures the soul, helps us relax as we listen and is the highlight of family gatherings. Our members will be offering freshly baked award-winning scones, cakes, biscuits, marmalades and preserves and hope that you will enjoy a little bit of CWA friendship and generosity with your cup of tea.”
Sally said members would welcome visits to the stall.
“We would love to chat with people about joining this vibrant organisation where we enjoy the support and friendship of fellow members whilst supporting those most vulnerable in our local area and beyond. Join us and make a difference.”
