DAL again delayed

The last round of community consultation on the Distinctive Area and Landscapes (DAL) project has been delayed to August.

The paper proposed a number of controls to protect the area, including ensuring new housing designs that fit in to town character, beautiful views be safeguarded, green breaks be increased between townships, avoid sprawl along the coast, while urban development close to high-value ecological areas should be restricted.
