Lynne Clements has been appointed as the new Director of the Phillip Island Early Learning Centre (PIELC), following the retirement of Karen Treppo.

Lynne has extensive leadership experience in a variety of educational positions and a passion for education and innovation.

In her introductory message to the PIELC community, Lynne said she had a "deep commitment to fostering enriching learning environments".

"I believe that education is the key to unlocking endless possibilities and nurturing the potential within each child."

Having lived and worked in New Zealand and across Australia, she said she was excited to bring her passion and experience to Phillip Island.

Lynne has had a house on Phillip Island for the last nine years, starting with a holiday home while working in Melbourne.

She now lives here full time.

"Keeping up the reputation of a top-quality ELC dedicated to creating valuable learning experiences is of greatest priority to me," she said.

As well as extensive senior administrative experience in justice, healthcare and education, with a background in private and higher education, Lynne has a BA in Education, a Post-Graduate Certificate in Design and is a certified TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) teacher.
