Election results are in

Four new faces will be sitting in the Bass Coast Shire Council chamber from Monday.

The official announcement will be at midday today, but the results are in for the 2020 election.

As predicted, Michael Whelan, David Rooks and Ronnie Bauer will represent Island Ward.

Western Port Ward sees Rochelle Halstead joining returning councillors Bruce Kent and Clare Le Serve.

In Bunurong Ward, Les Larke has managed to scrape back in, narrowly beating newcomer Michael Nugent on preferences, to join Brett Tessari and Leticia Laing.

The new council will be sworn in on Monday, November 9 at 3pm.
