1 min read

Phillip Island Jazz presents Shirazz on Sunday afternoon, April 21 at the Bowling Club in Cowes.

Shirazz is well- known throughout the jazz scene in Australia and internationally.

"The quality of their music is first class and they can be relied upon to produce a complete performance in a most rewarding way," said a spokesperson for the Jazz Club.

"They are a group who has continued to improve their performance levels and are in great demand locally and throughout Australia and rest assured that they will provide you with value for money."

Shirazz  first appeared at the Phillip Island Jazz Festival in 2009 where they displayed immense potential.

"This is their 12th or 13th visit to Phillip Island and it is pleasing to note just how they have developed during that period.

"They are the master of audience participation and the reception they get from those in attendance is most exciting."

Performing on the day will be Matt Dixon on trombone and vocals, Adrian De Fanti on clarinet and saxophone, Steve Temple on trumpet, Michael Hanley on banjo, guitar and vocals, Stephanie Bell on bass and Bruce McIntyre on drums.

It's expected demand for tickets will be high, so get in early and purchase your tickets.

Entry is $20 for Jazz Club Members and $25 for visitors.
