On Sunday, May 18, Phillip Island Jazz Club presents Anita Harris and the Swingeroos.

The popular vocalist is performing at the Phillip Island Bowling Club, 40 Dunsmore Road in Cowes, from 2pm until 4.30pm.

Joining Anita are the Swingeroos: her dad Kim Harris on keyboards, Phillip Island Jazz favourite Ron Anderson on reeds, Steve Temple on trumpet, Doug Kuhn on bass and Alan Richards on drums.

Anita always gives a quality performance, and this will be no exception. 

She was once described by Australian Jazz Scene as "one of those very rare vocal stylists who have a wide appeal to a range of age groups and jazz preferences in her audiences".

Anita has a large repertoire of jazz gems, a growing catalogue of recordings and some of Melbourne's finest musicians on hand to work by her side.

This will be a great afternoon of music and wonderful vocals.

Please book early if possible, to give organisers an idea on how many tables and chairs will be needed for the day.
