Whisky, Wine and Whales: A candlelit escape from the winter chill

As the chill of midwinter settles across the coast, Churchill Island's historic shearing shed will come alive with light, music and rich flavours this month, for a special event.

On Saturday July 12, Whisky, Wine and Whales is hosting an intimate candlelight concert where guests can embrace the spirit of the season with bold drinks, hearty food and soul-stirring live music.

Coinciding with the Phillip Island Whale Festival, guests will sip and savour food and drinks from local producers before enjoying the performance by Cedar Collective.

The quartet will play a mix of classical hits and covers - from Beethoven and Vivaldi to Coldplay, Fleetwood Mac and Queen.

Guests will receive a complimentary drink on arrival and can then purchase smooth rums from JimmyRum Dromana, fine whiskies from Loch Distillery and premium wines from Silverwater Winery alongside indulgent food to ward off the winter chill.

There will be a Uruguayan BBQ and Create Catering will be selling delicious sliders and hot drinks.

With its flickering candlelight and a talented quartet performing against a cozy fireside backdrop, the evening promises an immersive and atmospheric experience.

Proudly presented by Phillip Island Nature Parks, only 100 guests will have the chance to experience this wonderful event, with shows at 5.30pm and 8pm. Doors open at 5pm.

Entry is $60 per person and restricted to guests aged 18 and over.

The event is cashless, and tickets must be booked via www.whiskywineandwhales.com
