With new laws set to transform Environment Protection Authority Victoria (EPA) from July 1, the EPA will be hosting an information session for business and the community on June 1.

The new laws make protecting the environment everyone’s responsibility and are the most far-reaching reforms in the space in 50 years.

EPA staff will be on hand to help people understand how they are affected and what they can do to contribute to the ongoing health of the environment.

The session will be held at the Bass Coast Shire Council offices at 76 McBride Avenue in Wonthaggi from 10am – 3pm on Tuesday, June 1.

Council officers will also be available to help with local business opportunities.
