The C graders headed over to Leongatha to take on Leongatha Town in a two-day game.

Cleary wound back the clock to take a diving one-handed catch to have Town 2/109 at drinks.

Francis then took another wicket, bowling the number three batsman.

Mani was introduced with immediate success, Cleary taking his second catch.

Parry then took a great outfield catch and took his third catch in gully.

When Cleary took his third catch, the Island had got themselves back into the game, having Town 7/151.

Francis then bowled another batsman and got his sixth wicket when Dave Fusinato took a diving catch.

Bud Marshall then only took three balls to end the innings, with Jonty Manning taking a straightforward catch.

Town all out for 205.

A magnificent effort by Peter Francis, 6/47.

The Island had 19 overs to bat and Manning and Dave Fusinato set about chipping away at the target.

The pair batting beautifully, hitting the boundary and taking sharp singles.

Dave was caught for 25 and Manning caught behind shortly after for 59.

Mani was out LBW and a disastrous run out on the last ball of the day, saw Drew run out, leaving the Sharks 4/92 and the game evenly poised.
