Follow the Gingerbread Trail
There’s an extra bit of Christmas cheer spreading across the island.
There’s an extra bit of Christmas cheer spreading across the island.
The Marrina Mouse Gingerbread Trail is the brainchild of Belinda Phillips from Marrina Mouse dance school.
It’s a unique Christmas journey designed to capture the imagination with a map to guide children around town to find all the gingerbread pieces.
Belinda said families can follow the map and find the characters, which are featured at the different businesses.
“Again, the stores have been wonderful getting on board with the Trail,” said Belinda.
“Brinnie T Design has dressed her window display and Phillip Island Chocolate Factory is creating a special dessert!”

Four of the characters featured in the Gingerbread Trail, created by the students of Marrina Mouse’s Theatre House, will also be on sale at Turn the Page bookstore.
Maps are available at the Gingerbread sign at St Philip's Anglican Church or an audio map can be found @marrinamousestheatrehouse Instagram page.
Businesses on the trail include: Marrina Mouse's Theatre House, Cowes CWA, Brinnie T Design, Penny Lane, The Jolly Lolly Trolley, Pino’s Trattoria, Neon Circus, Ocean Reach Brewery, Phillip Island Bakery, The Waterboy Café, Cotton Onto Craft, Cowes IGA, Phillip Island Chocolate Factory, Silverleaves General Store, the Advertiser and Grumpy’s Mini-Golf.
The Gingerbread Trail runs until December 25.
