Department of Education spokesperson last week told the Advertiser Perseverance Primary currently had no enrolments.

French Island: Perseverance Primary's future uncertain
French Island's only primary school - Perseverance - was exempt from the State Government's minimum pupil requirements and in 2010 had just four students, pictured at the time with their teacher Fiona. The school is now closed for lack of children.
