Further easing of restrictions
Restrictions in regional Victoria will ease further from midnight on Tuesday, October 27.
The Premier has announced restrictions in regional Victoria will ease further from midnight on Tuesday, October 27.
With the 14-day average in regional Victoria currently at 0.2, restrictions on gyms, religious gatherings, indoor pools, and school graduations have eased.
Due to an outbreak in the northern suburbs, there was no easing of restrictions for metropolitan Melbourne as expected.
The Premier describing it as a “cautious pause”, awaiting the results of 1000 tests taken over the past few days.
“It’s no good doing targeted testing if we don’t wait for the results,” he said.
The government hopes to announce an easing of restrictions for Melbourne within a few days.
