"Can't a penguin get a little privacy?". This little fellow seemed less than impressed that local photographer John Stapleton took this shot mid moult. Each year, Little Penguins go through a "catastrophic moult", where they lose all their feathers (around 10,000). Without their waterproof plumage the penguins are stuck on land and can be "hungry, hot and generally uncomfortable", according to the Penguin Foundation. No wonder they didn't want their photo taken.
