Great day for great cause

A great day of racing is in store this weekend at the Phillip Island Health Hub Race Day at the beautiful Woolamai Racecourse on March 17.

As well as celebrating St Patricks Day, enjoy an exciting day with Fashions on the Field, face painting, footy handball, a photo wall for selfies, music and raffles.

All money raised will help to improve our health services, going towards the Phillip Island Phillip Island Community Hospital, due to open in late 2024.

This popular event, now in its fifth year, is proudly supported by Performance Property, The Big Wave Complex, Silverleaves Electrical, Cowes RSL and Bass Coast Health as well as the Woolamai and District Racing Club who donate $5 for every adult entry to the Hub Auxiliary.

The Woolamai Racecourse, in a picturesque country setting at the foot of the Bass hills with tranquil views over the surrounding farmland, is just a 30-minute drive from Cowes.

Or catch the special race day buses from Cowes and San Remo, run by South Coast bus lines.

The Health Hub Race Day is on Sunday March 17. Gates open at 11am. General admission ticket is $15, with children under 16 free.
