The Under 14 blue travelled down the road, to battle Inverloch/Kongwak, in what was sure to be a great contest.

With Inverloch sitting second on the ladder, the Doggies had to come out strong and that they did.
Great ruck work by Hayden, sent Maxy Jess forward and Heater Bowen snapped truly for the Doggies first.
Inverloch came back with their own and we sure had a tussle on our hands.
Good work by Cub Cantwell, Sammy O and Joe Kelsy off the backline held Inverloch to one goal for the quarter.
On his return game, Harvey Strachen got some good touches and with Jem Hennekam and Sam Fairthorne moving well.
The second started much the same.
Strong centre work had the Doggies pushing forward at every turn.
Levi Addison, Henry Dean and Archie Williams continued working hard, driving the ball in deep.
The Doggies managed to hold the ball in the front 50, for most of the quarter.
The third quarter presented a change in the Doggies’ fortune.
Inverloch came out strong and kicked four goals to none for the quarter.
The Doggies battled well with the siege, but Inverloch's height was telling.
Fifty gamer Al "the wrecking ball “Szymanski, Angue McLure and Ollie Bain tried their best, but Inverloch got their run on.
The wind was with Inverloch, and this certainly helped.
A good rev up from Brendan "Coach Carter" Cashman, had the Doggies revved up for a challenge that was before them in the last.
Good work from Flynn Dengerink, Duke Lawrence, Lewis De Fazio and Captain Kai Cashman, moved the ball really well.
The Doggies kicked four goals in the last and they thought an Essendon type win was on the cards.
Inverloch settled with two of their own to take the win by 13 points.
