Harmony choir brings the sunshine

The Island Harmony Choir's annual concert will be held once again at St John's Uniting Church, Chapel Street in Cowes on Saturday November 14 at 2pm.

The four-part harmony choir of about 30 members will perform an entertaining variety of songs, ranging from the Beatles classic "Here Comes The Sun", to the stirring African song "Siyahamba", to a medley from "Oliver", and many other pieces.

The performance also includes a wonderfully evocative arrangement of a Celtic hymn "Healing Light" by the brilliant contemporary Welsh composer Sir Karl Jenkins.

The afternoon will also feature instrumental items performed by local music artists from Phillip Island and further afield.

The Island Harmony Choir has now been enjoying singing and performing at various venues on Phillip Island for about 20 years.

Tickets will be available at the door, so come along, bring your friends.
Join us for an afternoon of musical pleasure followed by a scrumptious afternoon tea and a chance to chat with all our performers.

Tickets are $20 or two for $30 (children free). Cash only - no EFTPOS.
