Katie Noonan alone at Berninneit

Next month, Katie Noonan brings her "Alone But All One" tour to Berninneit.
The album is her 30th studio album and the show on Saturday October 10 promises to be one of the most intimate and personal of her career.

The five times ARIA award winning artist has a genre spanning career, including pop-rock band George, Jazz trio Elixir, as well as operatic duets with her mother and albums with Paul Grabowsky as well as multiple solo albums.

"Alone But All One" was written following the end of her long marriage, recorded live in Katie's lounge room on Gubbi Gubbi Country in the hills behind Nambour - stripped back to just her voice, piano and string quartet.

Half the record features Katie's own writing about the end and reimagining of love, while the other half grew from 156 pages of unpublished private writing gifted to her by close friend Trent Dalton, written while he was falling in love with his wife Fiona.

Katie says the album is "not a reckoning or a public unravelling". "It is about what happens quietly, after the noise. About the moments where we ask ourselves: Who am I now, and how do I live from here."

The resulting live show has already been described as "close, honest, and unfiltered" and "a masterclass in restraint", with standing ovations across the first run of shows earlier this year.

Both the album and tour have received stunning reviews.

Kara White at Scenstr described the live show as "a performance of unmistakable sensitivity, where trust felt instinctive rather than rehearsed", while Greg Phillips at Australian Musician described it as Katie's most "personal and vulnerable record".
